I saw a couple deer but nothing worth shooting at. Decided next year I'm going riding instead!

This was my first time attending the award ceremony. NEPG put on a spaghetti dinner after the race in AL and it was great that my entire family could join me.

Conditions were perfect in Alabama for this race! Weather was warm and course was fun. The race consisted of rocky uphills, tight woods, and flowing trail. I had a lot of fun and finished 2nd in +30A and 37th overall.

Remember keep it between the trees!!

Ava Maria Grotto

On our way down to the AL National Enduro we stopped in Cullman, AL for a little sight seeing. The Ave Maria Grotto is a landscaped 4-acre park in an old quarry (on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey) exhibiting 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous religious structures of the world. It was neat to see all the detail that was put into each statue.

October 15, 2017 - Round #8 - Sand Springs, OK

It was exciting going back to my childhood home state to race for the first time. The locals said they received a lot of rain during the week leading up to the race. They were worried that predicted rain Saturday night would make for a muddy event, but light showers early in the morning were no problem for the course. This weather made the event's conditions almost perfect for this area. The course consisted of rocks, tight woods, and open flowing trail. I had a great race and finished 1st in +30A and 36th overall.
