2018 D16 GP & Harescramble - Hixton, WI

Event: GP & Harescramble

Event Date: August 25 & 26, 2018

Series: District 16

Location: Hixton, WI

Results: AA Class = 4^th & 1^st Overall = 4^th & 1^st

Track Conditions: Saturday- 1st moto was slippery & muddy & 2nd moto dried up a little bit and started to get tacky. Sunday – dirt was like brownies and perfect the first half until the down pour of rain came

Comments: The Hixton double header weekend was eventful. The GP on Saturday started out sloppy and ended with nice tacky dirt. The first moto I made my way into first and ended up crashing on the last lap and got 4th. Then the 2nd moto got a bad start and finished 4th again. For 4th overall on the day. Sunday was the harescramble. Started out with great conditions early on and about half way through it started pouring rain. The trail turned into lakes and rivers. The race was called early due to lightning and conditions being too bad for the paramedics to safely get someone out if they would have gotten hurt. I ended the day in 1st place.

2018 Border Battle - Rhinelander, WI

Series: Border Battle XC

Location: Rhinelander, WI

Results: AA Class = 5^th Overall = 5^th

Track Conditions: dry, dusty, Sandy, and a mix of motocross and woods

Comments: Today at the @borderbattlexc I had an off day for sure. Made the best of it and came home with a fifth-place finish. Not where I wanted to be, but every race is a learning step and we know what I need to work on this week.

2018 D16 Sprint Enduro & Enduro - Roselawn, IN

Event: Sprint Enduro & Enduro

Event Date: August 11 & 12, 2018

Series: District 16/17

Location: Roselawn, IN

Results: AA Class = 4^th Overall = 4^th

Track Conditions: warm and a little dusty with tight woods

Comments: This past weekend we were in Roselawn Indian for two days of racing. The weather was warm and the trails were fun. I finished both days 4th AA and 4th overall.

2018 D16 Harescramble - Camp Douglas, WI

Location: Camp Douglas, WI

Results: AA Class = 4^th Overall = 4^th

Track Conditions: tacky, tree roots and rough

Comments: Spend Friday and Saturday with my family and then raced on Sunday. For the first time holding a race at this location it turned out great. I’d like to thank the Georgeson’s for using their land and all their hard work along with CMJ for making a great course (had a little bit of everything: woods, moto, endurocross, and grass tracks).
