3rd Round National Enduro- Salley, SC

March 4, 2012
250A finish = 6th / Overall finish = 34th.
Race day weather was cool and cloudy, better than the day before because it rained off and on all day and throughout the night. The first test was really the only muddy test due to all the ruts from the kids race the day before. The second test went better because my arm pump went away and I was able to settle into a decent pace. Being on an early minute I struggled throughout the whole day trying to find the trail, my results were hindered because of this and getting lost a couple times cost me time. I made the best of the day and enjoyed the race. I would like to thank all my sponsors for getting me through the day.

1st Round National Enduro- Sumter, SC

January 29, 2012
250A finish = 6th / Overall finish = 32nd.
Race day weather was warm and sunny. I couldn't ask for a better day of racing! The first test of the course was part of the National Harescramble from the week before. By the time I got to it this section was totally beat up. I struggled with arm pump at the beginning but by test two it was gone. The rests of the tests throughout the day went fairly decent for me. Minor mistakes throughout the day kept me from finishing on top. I felt that my overall race went well considering I haven't been able to ride as much as I would like because of the cold weather up North. I plan on working on a few things before the next race to improve on my results. I would like to thank all my sponsors for their help.

week before the 1st National Enduro

I went down to South Carolina the week before the race to get some time on my bike. We were going to stay at the "farm" (Randy Hawkins' place) but we got rained out so we headed south towards Columbia. We stayed at Palmetto MX track. The place had two moto tracks and two woods loops that were a lot like the enduro course we were going to race. We got a lot of good practice and time on the bikes.
