Tooth Fairy

Chase lost his first tooth. It was extremely wiggly and he pulled it out all by himself. The tooth fairy brought a crisp $2 bill that night.

2018 D16 Harescramble - Meadow Valley, MN

Results: AA Class =  2nd    Overall =  2nd

Track Conditions: tacky dirt / rocky / mixture of moto track, woods, and grass track

Comments: Father’s Day weekend brought us to Meadow Valley MX in Minnesota. The weather was a scorcher all weekend. When the gun went off on Sunday I was able to grab the hole shot and a little while after that is when my day turned upside down literally. I tried a different line on an off-camber hillside and went down. Everyone got by me before I got going again. That drained me. I put my head down and pushed hard the next lap. I was able to make my way back to the front pack after a couple laps. Then I settled into a conservative pace for two laps and tried to push once again for the last couple laps. I was able to salvage a second-place finish in the extremely hot weather and I was happy with that after how my day started.

Kindergarten Graduation

Chase is really growing up fast! Just celebrated his graduation from Kindergarten with a ceremony and cookie social. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming.

 

2018 NEPG National Enduro - Round #5 Greensboro, GA

Track Conditions: almost perfect conditions - tacky dirt

Comments: Had a great time at the @nepgenduro this past weekend. The weather was not too hot for this time of year in Georgia and the dirt was almost perfect.

Comments: The Cranberry Bog Harescramble was a hot and dusty one. I had a great day! I pushed hard from the start and rode a smart race in the heat. I was able to take the overall win. The Madison Motorcycle Club did an awesome job laying out a great course.

2018 Woods Rider Development Class

Event: Woods Rider Development class

Location: Adams, WI

Comments: I volunteered with my fellow D16 buddies to put on a riding school (Woods Rider Development) for the youth of our sport. The event consisted of log jumping, corners, starts, and bike maintenance. It is so much fun helping the kids and seeing them improve throughout the day. We ended the day with a dance competition and some ice cream. It was a blast

Results: AA Class = Saturday 8th / Sunday 3rd                 Overall = Saturday 8th / Sunday 3rd

Track Conditions: dry – woods, motocross, rock creek, and open trails

Comments: This past weekend we had a double header at Fox Valley Offroad. Saturday was a GP format and a harescramble on Sunday. I struggled on Saturday with starts and trying to get comfortable with the track. I finished the day in 8th. Sunday I was able to settle down finally and start to ride like I know I can. It took a while to work my way towards the front, but I was able to take a 3rd place OA.
