2018 D16 Harescramble/GP - Wedron, IL

Results: AA Class = Saturday 8th / Sunday 3rd                 Overall = Saturday 8th / Sunday 3rd

Track Conditions: dry – woods, motocross, rock creek, and open trails

Comments: This past weekend we had a double header at Fox Valley Offroad. Saturday was a GP format and a harescramble on Sunday. I struggled on Saturday with starts and trying to get comfortable with the track. I finished the day in 8th. Sunday I was able to settle down finally and start to ride like I know I can. It took a while to work my way towards the front, but I was able to take a 3rd place OA.

2018 NEPG National Enduro - Round #4 Arrington, VA

Event: National Enduro

Event Date: May 6, 2018

Series: NEPG

Location: Arrington, VA

Results: AA Class =  15th    Overall =  74th

Track Conditions: Wet and muddy

Comments: Round four of the National Enduro series in Virginia is complete. The rain at the start of the race made for some slippery spots in the first two tests. The rest of the tests were good as the sun and bikes dried them out. I had a very disappointing day I struggled in every test with multiple issues and couldn’t get going today and stay there. We will get them handled and be back ready for the next one.

2018 MI Sprint Enduro - ISDE Qualifier

Event: ISDE- East Qualifier

Event Date: April 28-29, 2018

Series: Michigan Sprint Enduro

Location: Battle Creek, MI

Results: LOI E2 Class =  9th /  10th    Overall =  20th / 21st

Track Conditions: Sand & dry = combination motocross/woods

Comments: This was my first time doing a race in the Michigan Sprint Enduro Series. The format was fun and I think this style of racing could help me in the Harescramble and Enduro series (pushing harder off the starting line). I look forward to competing in the Virginia Qualifier in a couple weeks.

Air Zoo Museum

We had a blast at the Air Zoo Museum in Kalamazoo, MI the day before the races. The Air Zoo is an aviation museum and indoor amusement park. It exhibited many historical and rare aircrafts, flight simulators, rides and information pertaining to aviation. A neat place to check out. After the simulator experience I decided I better stick to two wheels! 

2018 District 16 Enduro - Roselawn, IN

Location: Roselawn, IN

Results: AA Class = 5th    Overall = 5th

Track Conditions: Comfortable temperatures and perfect trail condidtions

Comments: First local enduro of the season. Since I registered the day of the race I didn’t get my first choice of row numbers- ended up on minute 52 which was a little rough! Had lots of fun and the club did an awesome job of laying out the trail.

2018 NEPG National Enduro - Round #3 Lynnville, IN

Results:   AA Class =  8th    Overall =  34th

Track Conditions: Wet and muddy

Comments: The Red Fox National Enduro was a muddy race. Besides the mud I had a few small setbacks throughout the day (got a wire tangled in my rear wheel and had some minor mental errors). I still had a ton of fun! I returned home to 29+ inches of snow on the ground which made clean up hard (had to wash everything at the local car wash).
