The Woods Rider Development class was once again a great time. In our forth year doing this class we are very fortunate to be able to help the younger riders, as well as, some beginner adults this year. This class makes learning to ride motorcycles more enjoyable. I really enjoy giving back to our sport when I can and what better way than to help the future of our sport. We had another great group of riders this year and I think everyone went away learning and applying the skills we showed them through out the day. To start the day we divided the riders into groups based on their ability. We had four different groups and four areas we worked on with them (Corners, Hills, Logs, and Tight Trees). I had hills. Around noon the school provided a lunch for the participants. After our short break we went back to the drills. To wrap up the day we gave a participation certificate to the riders. We had a great group of guys coaching the rides (Pete, John, Ryan, Nate, Gus, and myself). Helping out with this event is one of the highlights of my year.
